webhost hiccup

The site was temporarily unavilable this evening (hours after initial relaunch) basically because of the large number of users accessing the site (which slowed down the shared server). =(

 Anyway, I can probably get the host to activate the site again but I think in the long run the shared hosting environment just can’t support TDP anymore. So my gameplan rightnow is to transfer TDP to a different host again, but this time on a VPS (virtual private server)– more expensive but also more powerful hosting. **sigh**

During the transfer nothing will be lost, the entire new site will be transferred (or at least what everybody has already started, threads etc.) To make the transfer as painless as possible however, TDP will need to be down for AT MOST 48 hours. I’m not sure yet when this will happen but hopefully I’ll come up with the date when I get hold of the VPS hosting account. Please bear with me. T_T
